On the occasion of the 5th National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, term 2023-2028; on the afternoon of December 26, 2023, the Da Nang City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, in coordination with other organizations, presented wheelchairs to disadvantaged victims of Agent Orange in the city. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van An, Chairman; Mr. Tra Thanh Lanh – Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Association; Ms. Tran To Nga – a Vietnamese expatriate from France, as well as the sponsor and leaders of the district associations. At the wheelchair presentation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van An, Chairman of the Da Nang City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, kindly inquired about, encouraged, and shared with the families of disabled relatives and victims of Agent Orange in difficult circumstances in the city, and presented 12 wheelchairs, with a total value of over 15 million VND. The funding was raised from philanthropists and benefactors. This is a meaningful and practical gift, helping victims to have more convenience in their daily lives, travel, and work, as well as giving them strength to overcome difficulties, strive to improve their lives, and reintegrate into the community.
